Match Report
Thornton Hibs hit five goals for the third time this season with Ross Morgan (2), Coco Mullen (2) and Adam Doig being their marksmen.

Morgan scored the opener in the 13th minute with his strike partner, Mullen, providing the assist.

Darren Wilcox struck an equaliser from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute after his namesake, Colin, was brought down in the area by Jimmy Shields.

Four minutes before half-time, the Hibs regained the lead as Morgan got on the end of Keiran McGuire’s cross to head home.

Adam Doig was intoduced as a half-time substitute and he wasted no time in making his presence felt as it was his pass that allowed Mullen to extend the Hibs’ lead in 48 minutes.

By 55 minutes, Mullen had made it 4-1 with McGuire providing another assist and four minutes after that, a cross from the left from John Paul Burns was met by the diving Doig who headed bravely past Scott Christie.

In the 74th minute, Scott Russell made a blinding save to push Neil Ritchie’s shot onto the crossbar but he was powerless to prevent Jordan Brown smashing the loose ball into the net from eight yards to complete the scoring.
