Chairman - Mike McCool

Mike started his career playing for St. Pius U16 (1964-66) before signing for the Hibs in 1967. This came to a premature end after only 7 games when he suffered a leg break against Clackmannan. He resumed playing U18 and U21 with Eastbank before re-signing for the Hibs (1972-76). Mike then went on to play for Leven Juniors (1976-77) and Lochgelly Albert (1977-79) before joining the Hibs for a 3rd time (1980-81). Mike was then reinstated as an amateur and played for Lomond VIcs (1981-83), Woodside Athletic (1983-84) and Balwearie Amateurs (1984-85).

Mike then became manager of Woodside Athletic (1986-92) before becoming assistant manager to J. Irvine at Cupar Hearts (2002-04).

Mike joined the Thornton Hibs' committee in 2007 and was elected chairman in June 2009.

Vice Chairman - Jim Barlow

Jim played U16 and U18 with YMCA then U21 with Greigpark Rangers. He also played junior level at Leven and amateur at Tayport YM and Balwearie.

Jim was manager at Balwearie from 1982 to 1996 when he then became manager at Glenvale.

In 2006 Jim joined the Thornton Hibs committee but left the following season to take over as assistant manager with Thornton Amateurs before rejoining the Hibs' committee in the summer of 2007. Jim was elected vice chairman in June 2009.

Secretary - Audrey McDonald

Audrey used to have a catering business and contracted for Hill Of Beath for 5 years until 2000 when she sold the business and was then asked to join the Hibs' committee.

Aud has what can be called a varied role - Assistant Manager (opinionated after 3 smirnoffs - Aud's words not mine!), laundry, catering, financial advising, agony aunt, social convener, PR, fundraiser, cleaner and of course not forgetting the excellent job she does as club Secretary.

She loves being part of the team and has made some very good friends who have got her through hard times.

Assistant Secretary/Webmaster - Alan Winton

The sum total of my 'sporting' career was way back in the 80's when I played pool for the Crown Hotel in Thornton and was part of the team that were runners-up in the league.

My only claim to fame came about as I am a huge fan of Terry Pratchett and the Discworld books. At a charity auction I won the prize of being a character in the book Going Postal and in there you will find Mad Al - yep that's me!

My brother got me interested in Thornton Hibs' and I then offered to look after the web site if the club ever wanted help. This was, spookily, perfect timing as the previous webmaster, Gordon Hunter, was looking to give up running the site and this has led to the site being given a complete makeover. I joined the committee in July 2008 and am enjoying every minute of it. I was elected Assistant Secretary in June 2010.

Treasurer - Ian Henderson
Ian was involved with Victoria Rovers AFC for 30 years as player, captain and manager. Ian joined the Hibs' committee in 2005 and was elected treasurer in June 2009.

Alan Brown
Alan usually runs the line at Hibs' home games and helps to set up the ground on match days. He joined the Thornton Hibs committee in 1986.

Scott Drylie

Played U21 for Leslie Hearts before joining Lochore Welfare. After only two games he was out of football for a long time following an operation for a cartilage problem. Lukey Rattigan & Ian Morrison got him back playing with Glenvale AFC and then he turned out for Markinch AFC under Lukey again. Scott joined the Hibs in the summer of 2006 after coaching Thornton Hibs U21. Scott was elected to the Hibs' committee in September 2009.

Colin Gilbert
In the distant past Colin did play in Hibs' colours (for Thornton Primary School!) He spent many years playing for Victoria Rovers AFC before taking on the post of Secretary with the club. Colin joined the Thornton Hibs committee in 2005 and usually runs the line at Hibs' away games.

Craig Gilbert
Played with the Hibs for eight seasons until moving to St Andrews United in January 2001. Returned to Memorial Park in the summer of 2007 from Kirkcaldy YMCA. Craig succeeded Stuart Elder as manager at the beginning of 2008/9 and in his first season took the club to the final of the Fife and Lothians Cup for the first time in their history.

Ian Hildersley

Hilly played on the right as a pacy ‘winger’ with U-21 side Eastbank before moving on to YM Amateurs. Latterly played for Victoria Rovers in the Kingdom League before retiring and becoming Secretary.

After moving to Thornton he was invited on to the committee of Thornton Hibs in 2004 and was Secretary for a season. He runs the popular Lotto Draw with fellow committee member Ian Henderson. Ian was assistant secretary from June 2009 to June 2010.

Tommy Low
After a 30 year association with Victoria Rovers AFC Tommy promised that he'd never be involved in football again until ex-players Archie Wyse and Stevie MacDonald sparked his interest again. Tommy is loving being part of the club - even in the pouring rain at the Bowling Green end!
