	09-Mar-2010 - Ex-Hibs goalkeeper Stuart Hall and Tash had a baby boy this morning at 3.40am weighing 6lb 6oz, and have named him Jayden. Everyone at Thornton Hibs would like to pass on their congratulations at this good news.

	Fife and Lothians Cup: Whitburn Juniors v Thornton Hibs Match Postponed
	06-Mar-2010 - Today's Whitburn Juniors v Thornton Hibs match has been postponed for the third time due to a frozen pitch.
	Player Transfers: Hibs Sign Colin Mullen
	05-Mar-2010 - Thornton Hibs have signed striker Colin Mullen from Rosyth. He is no stranger to a Hibs' jersey though because during Willie Syme's term as manager, Colin came on a sub when we were thrashed 6-0 by Glenrothes in the ACA Sports League Cup on 23-Aug-2006. He played as a trialist that night from Burntisland Shipyard U21. Colin goes straight into Craig Gilbert's squad for the Fife and Lothians Cup-tie at Whitburn on Saturday
	Club News: Thornton Hibs Tote Double and Lotto Draws
	02-Mar-2010 - In the Lotto Draw made on 28-Feb-2010 the numbers 9, 10 & 12 were drawn. There were no jackpot winners and the jackpot next week will be £760. Bill Marshall won the Booby Prize of £10. In the Tote Double the numbers 16 & 29 were picked on 01-Mar-2010 and the jackpot of £100 was won by McKenzie, Beech Avenue an Donaldson, Beech Avenue (£50 each). The jackpot next week will be £50. 75th Anniversary Sportsmans Dinner

To mark our 75th year in the juniors (originally formed as a juvenile club in 1913), Thornton Hibs are hosting a Sportsmans Dinner in the CISWO, Glenrothes on Saturday 20th March 2010 at 6.30pm. Three speakers have been booked for the night, namely

John Ritchie - The former Brechin City manager who also had a successful goalkeeping career at Cowdenbeath, Brechin City, Bradford City and Dundee United. He was coaching mentor for Thornton Hibs when we reached semi final of the Scottish Junior Cup in April 2008. John now runs the very successful JR-Coaching and is one of the most qualified coaches in Scottish Football.

Stewart Coull - Irish comedian with sporting interests in football, rugby and golf.

Donald Findlay QC - Britain's leading Criminal Defence Advocate and ex Rangers Vice Chairman. Donald Findlay is one of the few remaining eccentrics in life.

Tickets cost £30 and can be purchased from any committee member. The dinner is obviously open to anyone but the Hibs would particularly like to see as many former Memorial Park guys as possible there.

Sponsors Wanted

Do you want to become a club sponsor or sponsor a player, coach or committee member for the 2009/10 season?Player/coach/committee member sponsorship costs £20 per person with no limit to the number of people you can sponsor or the number of sponsors a person can have. From this season there will be the opportunity for sponsors to have their photo taken with the people they sponsor and these will be featured on the web site.
