	Club News: Tom Holmes
	04-Feb-2010 - Tom Holmes, who played for the Hibs in the 60's and managed the club in the 1970's has died. His funeral service will be in St Columba's Parish Church tomorrow (Friday 5th February) at 12.30, Interment thereafter in Leslie Cemetery arriving at 1.15pm. Tom was a guest of the club at our 60 year Junior Sportsmans Dinner in 1995 as by that time he was physio at Glenrothes but always made time to see our players.

	31-Jan-2010 - With all yesterday's games being postponed the fixture list has been rolled over to 06-Feb-2010 which means that the Hibs are due to play at home to Steelend Vics in the league next Saturday.

75th Anniversary Sportsmans Dinner

To mark our 75th year in the juniors (originally formed as a juvenile club in 1913), Thornton Hibs are hosting a Sportsmans Dinner in the CISWO, Glenrothes on Saturday 20th March 2010 at 6.30pm. Three speakers have been booked for the night, namely

John Ritchie - The former Brechin City manager who also had a successful goalkeeping career at Cowdenbeath, Brechin City, Bradford City and Dundee United. He was coaching mentor for Thornton Hibs when we reached semi final of the Scottish Junior Cup in April 2008. John now runs the very successful JR-Coaching and is one of the most qualified coaches in Scottish Football.

Stewart Coull - Irish comedian with sporting interests in football, rugby and golf.

Donald Findlay QC - Britain's leading Criminal Defence Advocate and ex Rangers Vice Chairman. Donald Findlay is one of the few remaining eccentrics in life.

Tickets cost £30 and can be purchased from any committee member. The dinner is obviously open to anyone but the Hibs would particularly like to see as many former Memorial Park guys as possible there.

Do you want to become a club sponsor or sponsor a player, coach or committee member for the 2009/10 season?Player/coach/committee member sponsorship costs £20 per person with no limit to the number of people you can sponsor or the number of sponsors a person can have. From this season there will be the opportunity for sponsors to have their photo taken with the people they sponsor and these will be featured on the web site.
